Modular design with plug in boards allows replacement of boards at site vs. returning the unit. High density plug in board which consolidates alarm circuit board and interface board into one plug in board.
Each IC in the system is plugged into a gold plated IC socket.
Each input is optically coupled to the system (not directly coupled).
The input alarm board is optically connected to the main board by way of optoisolators.
The telephone circuit is protected by a sidactor .
The ID-4 can dial up to 16 different phone numbers, 16 digits per number. This data is stored in non-volatile memory.
The ID-4 can call a telephone number and deliver a voice message, call a pager and input a three digit code and the active alarms.
The ID-4 has four by-pass switches with corresponding LED's show at a glance which channels are by-passed. It is not necessary to remove wires to disable an alarm trip circuit.
You are able to remotely program the system from any touch tone telephone system.
You may remotely interrogate the system as to status of the alarms being monitored.
The acknowledge feature of the ID-4 requires a two digit customer ID number to acknowledge the system. The supervisor may review the last 8 (eight) personal ID numbers which have acknowledged the system. This provides an audit trace of who acknowledged the call.
A two line LCD display will present the name of the alarm and the type of contact (N/O or N/C). The time delay in minutes or seconds and the numeric number which describes the time delay is also shown. In addition, the actual name of the corresponding alarm (up to 16 digits) is displayed on the second line.
The system also has an auxiliary relay which can trip another relay and turn on a light or bell. (custom programming).
The ID-4 offer the ability to display all time delay values on the LCD display.
The quality of speech in the system is comparable to a telephone conversation. The customer may enter any sound, language or unusual name with no limit on vocabulary.
All programming is done by telephone hand-set and special tools or equipment are not required.
The system is controlled and operated by a 40 pin microprocessor.
The customer may select to dial or not to dial any of the 16 numbers stored in memory.
There is an option which is factory installed that permits the ID-4 to dial telephone sequence one during the day and telephone sequence two at night. This is available on the 8 number dialing an no additional charge.
Custom programming for the ID-4 is available and is a one time charge. Additional orders of the same change are not generally charged.
The ID-4 is a scaled down, consolidated 4 channel version of the ID-8.
