The ID-4 which you have purchased is programmed for 16 number dialing. This provides the customer the ability to enter up to 16 different telephone numbers for the dialer to call on an alarm condition.
The standard version allows for one group of eight telephone numbers. This modification allows for two groups of eight telephone numbers, Group 1 and Group 2. Both the first and second group of telephone numbers are entered and reviewed exactly like the instructions in the catalog/operation manual which was shipped with the ID-4.
Dialing Sequence 1 uses the first group of eight telephone numbers. Dialing Sequence 2 uses the second group of eight telephone numbers. The customer selects either sequence 1 (which controls the 1st group of eight telephone numbers) or sequence 2 (which is the second group of telephone numbers). The 2nd telephone number in group 1 would not be the same as the 2nd telephone number in group 2 (although they could be the same).
Entering, reviewing, changing, and dialing of telephone numbers is done by first selecting the group (either 1 or 2), then performing the required operation.
Remember that all things are the same except that instead of having only one telephone sequence, you have two telephone sequences.
Dialing Sequence 1 determines which telephone numbers stored in Group 1 will be called on an alarm condition. Dialing Sequence 2 determines which telephone numbers stored in Group 2 will be called on an alarm condition. If no acknowledge signal is received by the end of the last number in Sequence 2, the system will restart with Sequence 1, then Sequence 2 until acknowledged. Dial Sequence 1 and 2 are selected at time of setup and may be changed at anytime the customer desires.
