The above flow charts are the basic set ups for using 4 cameras to monitor a location on site. The DVR can have a hard drive for recording. The multiplexer will need to have some type of recording device attached if you want to have a record of events. If you would like to monitor the cameras from other locations (with a LAN and/or over the internet) you can use one of the following flow charts to set up the system.
